Council is a devic essence co-created with nature spirits at the Hundred Acre Woods in Fairhaven, Bellingham, WA. A council of nature spirits and ancestors of the land came together to create this essence. They spoke of the importance of the circle in council. In circle, you have your allies near you and a general "arc" of common energy shared with those surrounding you. Then you have those opposite you who can potentially hold tension or act as teachers or expose shadow. There are also mediating forces between the two polarities, providing strength and integrity to the whole. All of this opens a space in between the council members, a sacred void that is fertile ground for something new to be born. Even if the members of the council all play a different part, the circle is a whole. The whole is influenced by its parts and the parts are influenced by the whole.
This essence is designed to support your transformation, so you can enter into council, a dynamic relationship with the unseen, from a place of relationality, but also respecting your personal sovereignty, the integrity of your being. To be in council with another, one must express one's truth, be tuned into intuition as well as be receptive of the guidance and wisdom of others. This essence can help push through any stagnancy, resistance or misperception that is keeping you from entering into relationship. It can act as an opening, or a draw into deeper levels of consciousness of a land. It can help you entrain with the land, so there is a meeting of minds. It is an excellent essence to use when you wish to call a council of unseen beings to work with you in an intentional way.
